Tariff & Reservations
The following daily tariffs are available at Maes-y-Derw Country House Bed and Breakfast:
- £70 to £85 per room (2 sharing) en-suite including breakfast.
- £50 to £55 for single occupancy en-suite including breakfast.
- £60 for single occupancy in a double room – applies for June – August
10% discount is offered on stays of more than 4 nights. (excluding Bank holidays, July and August and Christmas/New year period)
10% discount for HM Forces on leave and booking for 2 nights or more.
The Coach House self-catering cottage is available for weekly lets, long weekends, or longer. Please contact us with your requirements and we will provide a quote. Weekly prices vary from £200 (low season) to £495 (high season).
Deposit
For B&B telephone bookings, a minimum deposit of £30 is required for a one night stay; deposits for longer stays will be calculated on a pro rata basis.
For B&B on-line bookings, terms vary with the website used to make the booking, most will require a full payment on booking.
For Coach House telephone bookings, a 25% deposit will be required. Payments can be made by cash, cheque (with guarantee card) or by credit/debit card via PayPal with additional charges added (details upon request).
For Coach House on-line bookings are suspended at present, please ring or email us to check availability and make a booking.
Booking Conditions
Guests are asked to arrive after 4.30pm and before 10pm, and are asked to vacate their rooms by 11am on the day of departure; however, arrangements can be agreed outside these times. Either cash, cheque or credit/debit cards (charges may apply) are accepted to pay bills; a valid cheque guarantee card may be asked for when paying by cheque.
Please note that smokers are welcome, but that smoking is not permitted in the main house or Coach House.
Children under the age of 14 can only stay in the main house with prior agreement, but all ages are welcome in the Coach House.
Cancellation Policy
For B&B telephone bookings, deposits are fully refundable if you cancel more than 10 days prior to your arrival date. If you cancel your booking 10 days or less prior to the arrival date, the proprietor shall retain the deposit. During July, August and Public Holidays a 50% deposit will be requested.
For B&B on-line bookings, full payment may be required on booking, please check the Terms and Conditions of the provider’s website.
For Coach House deposits are not refundable and final payment is required 6 weeks prior. If you cancel more than 4 weeks before your holiday you will receive a full refund less the deposit. If you cancel 4 weeks or less before your holiday, no refund will be due unless the Coach House can be re-let. Detailed booking conditions will be sent to customers on booking, or on request.
